water-sports can be enjoyed on the river and the lakes in the
village of Rille approx 10 mins drive from Le Champ.
Walking, cycling, horse-riding. fishing and golf
are popular
activities in the region.
There are activities for the whole
family - the Zoo at Doue la Fontaine, Miniature Village,
Futurscope, Mushroom Museum, Karting, Cinema/Theatre and even
Disneyland Paris is only 45 minutes away on the TGV.
We are happy to recommend our
favourite restaurants in the nearest town of Saumur. The Loire Valley is
also renowned for
its
vineyards, so adults might enjoy a day of wine-tasting!
